Monday, 6:45p. What to do? Not very hungry, yet. Why would you start something that takes 3 hours to make when you are tired and running outbid steam, and quickly? Well, we all make choices. Mine was to go shopping for, and not make Sunday supper ON Sunday.

I did not however feel like going out for panchetta, nor do I like mushrooms (at all) so I ditched the porcini… I was about 2 cups short on red wine too- sometimes you have to drink and then cook…

All in all? It came out oily and a bit too bland for my taste. But, not horrible. We are both still alive!
